37 Miles Away

My lovely wife and I made a little drive down to Fife on Saturday night to check out the new cigar spot down there:

Stogies Cigar and Sports Lounge

Honestly, the drive wasn't all that bad - 40 minutes with light traffic, probably the quickest I've ever made it down to Tacoma from the Eastside.

So what did I think of the place?
LOVED IT! Holy crap this is probably the nicest cigar spot in the area! And I should know, I've been to almost all of them!

The first thing you'll notice is that it isn't hidden in a casino or office building, they've got their own stand alone building right on the corner of 54th and Pacific Hwy. Super easy to get to, just take the 54th Street exit off I-5 and turn right. VoilĂ , you're there!

Anyway, the place is gigantic, I thought it would be one big room, but it's broken up into four sections; Main bar/restaurant area, cigar locker area, humidor area, and outdoor seating area. Yeah, you want to have a cigar party, I'm sure they can accommodate any size gathering you might have. Super big place!

As I mentioned, they have a restaurant too - we ordered a few items off the menu and we were pretty surprised at how good the food is! I recommend that you try the jumbo coconut prawns! Delicious!

Bottom line, check this place out - it's worth the drive down, we really enjoyed it!

Sidenotes:
